Our CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) cylinders are made from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and have services pressures up to 1800 PSI. These bottles function by housing CO2 liquid held under pressure and release a burst of CO2 gas whenever the pin valve on top of the bottle is actuated. The advantage of liquid CO2 is that because of its nature and relatively lower operating pressures, no expensive pressure regulation device is needed on the tank in order to achieve consistent low pressure bursts of gas. This is the reason that CO2 bottles have become popularly used in paintball, portable tools powering, and other similar applications.

Precision Impacts is a certified DOT supplier (manufacturer #M4625) of aluminum CO2 cylinders capable of designing, prototyping, testing, and custom finishing. Currently produced models include 8, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 oz standard CO2 cylinders, Precision Impacts is also the patent holder and exclusive manufacturer of 9, 12, 20, and 24 oz internal valve CO2 cylinders.

In addition to CO2 cylinders, Gayston also manufactures higher capacity, high pressure air (HPA) cylinders.

Made from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy our current HPA cylinders are used to store and disperse high pressure air for paintball use. These tanks have a service pressure 3000 PSI and come equipped with a regulator to control output pressure. These cylinders are a lower cost option to our high pressure composite cylinders.

4500 PSI composite wrapped cylinders consist of a thin-walled aluminum liner wrapped under tension in composite filament. The liner provides a thin, non-porous container for pressurized air or liquid while the composite fibers reinforce the cylinder. This yields a cylinder that is very light with the ability to store large amount of pressurized gas or liquid capacity. Composite wrapped cylinders have a wide variety of uses, some of which are alternative fuel (compressed hydrogen, liquid natural gas, liquid hydrogen) as well as Paintball.
